Standard Check includes an AI Detection Report and a separate Similarity Report for qualifying documents, so you can review AI writing signals and text overlap before submission.
AI Score estimates how much qualifying text may look AI-generated. Similarity Score measures overlap with published and web sources. They are different metrics — a higher AI Score does not mean a higher Similarity Score, and vice versa.
TurnitChecker accepts PDF, DOC, and DOCX files containing 400–28,000 words and no more than 10 MB. On this service, AI Writing Reports are available for qualifying content in English, Spanish, and Japanese. These are TurnitChecker service limits, not the file limits of Turnitin's institutional platform.
TurnitChecker is designed for private pre-submission checks. Your document is processed only as needed to provide the requested report and is not retained for routine long-term storage on our platform. Submissions are configured not to be added to Turnitin's student paper repository during processing.
