Standard vs Academic Plan: Which Turnitin Check Is Right for You?
Choose the report you need — not the plan name or your degree level.
Standard and Academic are TurnitChecker's service packages. They are not institutional Turnitin or iThenticate accounts.
The practical difference is what you receive. Standard includes an AI report and a Similarity Report; Academic includes an iThenticate AI report only. Do not assume Academic includes both.

Choose Standard when you need both reports
Use Standard if you want to review AI-writing signals and matched sources in the same submission. This can be useful for coursework or a research draft; your degree level alone does not require a different package.
Choose Academic only when its included report fits
Our Academic package supplies an iThenticate AI report. Confirm that this is the specific report you need before buying; it is not an upgrade that adds similarity checking.
A higher price is not evidence of better detection accuracy. We do not promise that this package will match your publisher's settings or replace a submission through an institution.
Official products and our packages are different
iThenticate serves research and publishing workflows, but its features depend on the product and license. For example, its public individual-credit offering and organizational offering have different AI features.
